Mr. Cranky Reviews the iMac G5
Mr. Cranky, alias Paul Thurrott, reviewed the iMac in about 3 minutes and 5 posts today …
One guess as to the prognosis …
Infantry Aces, by Franz Kurowski
I just finished reading Infantry Aces, a compilation of stories about the second world war - from the perspective of the enemy: German soldiers.
It’s an engrossing and revolting book, for a number of different reasons, not least of which is that the author is a WWII veteran … and a German soldier.
Please, an Apple Tablet!
As the rumors build up for the next big Mac fest in France, and as the late, late, late next-gen iMac inches closer to a unveiling date sometime in September, I’m hoping to see something about an Apple tablet.
Internet Explorer is NOT insecure (if you’re an analyst)
I just love the obligatory analyst idiocies that one sees ever so often regarding Microsoft and its tools:
The obligatory and long-awaited I, Robot it-wasn’t-the-same-as-the-book rant
OK, I went to see I, Robot. OK, I liked the film. OK, it far surpassed my abysmal preconceptions.
But, I mean, really! Is this I Robot?
Getting it together would be good (life that is)
Just saw a link to this page again. It’s the “clean sweap” program and it is something I’ve kinda wanted to do …
The Clean Sweep Program is a checklist of 100 items which, when completed, give one complete personal freedom. These 100 items are grouped in 4 areas of life with 25 in each group: Physical Environment, Well-being, Money and Relationships. These 4 areas are the cornerstone for a strong and healthy life and the program helps a person to clean up, restore and polish virtually every aspect of his/her life. The program takes between 6 - 24 months to complete.
I want to have everything checked off.
I want to have everything checked off.
I want to have everything checked off.
I also want to relax occasionally! And I kind of suspect the “complete personal freedom” thing to be a little influenced by hype.
Sparkplug 9 is John Koetsier's blog on life, the universe, and everything,
but mostly the stuff you see big in the tags to the left.
Welcome, enjoy, buy the T-shirt, take a picture, tell your friends.
